The one on Bardstown is the main one and supposedly has everything. I've never been to it.

Just realized there are three in Louisville. Thought I'd seen two on their site, or they've added one since I looked last. Might have to hunt down the big one if I ever get up that way.

My favorite store is Creve Coeur Camera because it has several stores and one close to me.

The other store I like is Schiller's because it offers some things Creve Coeur Camera doesn't have, but it's further away and there's only one store.

Art's has 2 outlets in the Milwaukee,Wi area.
Mike Cravello's has one about 4 miles away.
Both are good retail stores, but i still do internet for most of my photo things..

I agree with Neubee regarding Art's Cameras Plus and Mike Crivello's. I think they are the only camera stores still open in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. Both have very knowledgeable salespeople. Both carry Canon and Nikon of course; Mike's also sells Leica, Olympus, Pentax, Sony; and Art's sells Sony. Used gear at both is worth a look whenever you stop in. Art's offers a great selection of classes. Mike's is the only local store of any kind that stocks ink cartridges for my Epson R2880. Prices at both are a little higher than national online dealers like B&H, Adorama, and Amazon.

None where I live - we used to have a Ritz and something else, but they closed.

Closest larger city is Portland, OR - 40 miles south. I think they have a few, but I've never visited one. Seattle/Tacoma is around 100 miles north, same story.

What happens if you had an 18-200 lens on a tripod, and someone knocked it over. The camera or lens did not cracked
So what should I do. The lens I tested today does work, but I also here some noise inside. Help!

You are posting this in the wrong thread. However, take this lens to either your local camera store (assuming you bought it from there) or send it to the manufacturer.

Pro Photo Supply-Portland, OR. Great store with everything a budding photographer could want plus no sales tax.

San Antonio...The Camera Exchange - although not competitive. Usually deal with Precision Camera in Austin.

I have Ray Supply in Queensbury, N.Y. (About in the middle of the state on the East coast) It is very small compared to walking through B&H, but they are very knowledgable and the whole staff is friendly. I will continue to buy local rather than on line even if it cost a little more. Hopefully they will stay open for years to come and I will continue to have the privlage of "hands on" inspection of equipment to know what I truly want/need to buy.

This is another reason to buy local. LOL At least if you have a local store to buy from in your area. I have a 5 year extended service coverage on my Nikon lenses because I am a kluts. If you start a thread with this topic I would be interested to see what others say.

My camera store is 15 miles away in Allentown Pa. Its called Dans Camera City. Ive been dealing with them for 42 years. I used them for all my supplies when I was doing weddings. Sold all my medium format there after I retired. They run all kinds of classes from beginers to advance. They have most anything you need. They have a very well trained staff That can ans any photo question about camers lens or how to take photos of anything night or day. They also have a rental studo with all the lights and back drops you would need. You can rent it by the houre. They not to long ago opened another store in Easton Pa. Ive never been to that one yet. They also run photos tours to interesting places. they bring in famous photographers for programs.
