I keep seeing posts concerning which brand to buy. While I think both are good and have advantages and disadvantages, I would like to share my story that compelled me to choose one over the other....

My neighbors wife received a Canon a few years ago as a gift. They tend to not tak care of their property. She has friends that share lenses and suggested that I buy a Canon and join the group. Shortly after that I saw that she left her bag open and the cats used her camera bag as a litter box...that is when I chose Nikon...several years down the road, I am still glad I chose Nikon

Hum, wonder if she sales on Ebay? "Camera bag lightly used."

To be fair, you should have had a bag of Nikon equipment open next to the Canon bag. Then you could say that two out of two cats prefer pooping on Canon. As a Canon user I feel that your test was unjust. Bab

Bab,

not really. Now he can say that canon equipment is so good that even cats prefer it.

This continued debate about Nikon or Canon is childish, out side of Hasselblad they are the two best manufactures (if you want every possible extra gear) and are roughly equivalent. If you have one or the other feel fortunate and stop trying to compare them!!

This was just a lighthearted story & wasn't meant to insult anyone. Read all the comments. I hate all the Canon & Nikon comparisons too. They are meaningless & childish, but, this was just funny & an unusual way to pick a system.

Very funny story Chris, even if it was reversed!!! I would not want to join my neighbors Canon lens sharing group when her Canon lenses were full of cat doo!!

Get it now SS?

Take a chill pill man!!!

Wasn't Hasselblad the camera that NASA used on the Apollo missions.

There is a $50k Hasselblad on the moon if you want to go get it.
At least it was worth $50k when they left it there.
