Tennessee middle school assistant football coach, age 26, fired for a song he wrote and played!
This could be the next number one hit country song. It's the best effort yet at encapsulating the outrage at the oversteps of this government in an entertaining song.
Apparently, the guy was fired over the song because some parents complained. If you like it, help it go "viral" by passing it along to everyone you know.

criss....His problem was emailing to parents of kids in the school. You've gotta keep your politics away from the school you teach in. If he hadn't emailed it to the parents he would have been okay.
SteveR. It is OK., I did not look at the problem from that angle..
Thanks for your explanation...

I loved it!! Will pass it on. Thanks!  :XD:
He got fired for using a school mailing list to send out political material. Wether left or right most school's forbid using their lists for political porpoises. Most schools and business forbid using theiEvenr mailing lists for any personal purpose. Even our Church has a notice on our directories "for Church use only" Firing may have been harsh but rules are rules. - Dave
This happened in 2010. I don't think Obama got him fired.
I believe the President of the United States has more important things to worry about.

The song is too dumb but it will definitely be popular with racists and ultra conservative right wing republicans. You admission as to being a redneck says it all.

Here's something theoretical since we don't have all the details. At least I don't. In helping coach baseball I had the names of kids and parents to keep them up to date in case practice schedules needed to be changed. Some of the kids played high school as well as a separate leagues. I had the names and email addresses that were separate from school records since I was not involved with the school system. So if I sent out an email that had nothing to do with school records would I be guilty of this charge if I were also involved with the same kids as far as school related? Just asking. I'd like to hear others thoughts on the subject.

Yeah, like a tee time and making sure his putter is polished and his balls are clean. Now that's funny. I'm anticipating my daily dose of hate mail.

Please use quote reply so we have a clue which post you are referring to. I agree though. After looking closer I see the article was posted in 2010 . Still a stupid decision in my opinion.

The South is populated by backwards, under educated, underfed and just plain ignorant people. If this man had the responsibility to mold young minds then everyone should have issue with this qualifications.
Here is the supporting documents for the above statement:

Hmmm. Since your location is in the South I may have to agree with you. You're such a dumbass you don't even realize you set yourself up. Good try Pixie. Just damn. No cure. Go back to taking pics of your family jewels or whatever you claim to do. I really feel sorry for you. It must be a tough life.

Damm right, he should of gotten fired, that's the most screwed up country song I've heard of in a long time. Trying to make a buck off us honest hard working people. We should be bragging up how great this country is instead of trying to tear it down. If you don't like it here just move out of town and see what some other country offers you. I served my country during the Viet Nam War and I'm damn proud I did.

I was referring to the original post.
Its probably not a good idea to use your employers mailing list.
I don't care which side of political fence you are on.
If he had written a silly song abut George W. he should have been held to the same rules.
I don't insult people online even if I disagree with their views.

And you are now serving Obama? What were you fighting for?
