Took picture at Druid Ridge cemetery??????????????
I don't know what it is, but it is certainly an interesting picture..
I don't have a clue, but I'm sure someone will know!
It's a Muscovy duck.
In the future, if you want help ID'ing a bird, it's very helpful to give your location, since most birds have a range that narrows down the possibilities for identification. ("in hiding", while cute, isn't helpful for that.)
I have the same head. Took it at a city park with lots of geese, ducks, etc. The body and head shape look like a duck , doesn't it. I thought maybe mine was an injury or something. Probably not if there are more.

The Muscovy duck gets those growths on its face, usually just above the beak. The male has more of them than the female, usually.
Like some other ducks, swans, and geese, the Muscovy duck has been domesticated, and can range in color from pure white, through grays, browns, and blacks - but the wild Muscovy is black.
Muscovy duck . I see them often in a pond near our town. I usually use Audubon ID books . They are usually helpful in identifying regional flora and fauna .
