Does anyone have any thoughts on DVD burning programs and had good success as far as quality? I use PSG (Pro show gold) and the program is great for building the slideshow, but terrible when it comes to burning the DVD. Thanks.

What OS?
I've used Nero on my old computer, Windows DVD maker on the new laptop.
I also (although that doesn't answer the question) burn DVDs directly from Premiere Elements.
I don't know about programs for Mac.

Windows DVD Maker. You will not lose sharpness or resolution as you do on so many other programs.

I'm satisfied with Nero - I make and copy slide show DVDs for events. It gives you menu options for selecting various slide shows - very professional. Very reliable software for professional results. Its not just a copier and it handles a broad range of CD and DVD options. - Peter

I used to burn a lot until 2-3 years, now not so much .. here is my experience
- If you want to make compilation (back up your photos) = NERO !!!
- No program will alter your sharpness or resolution if you are making backup. If you want to make presentation or slideshow , ... , well I don't like slideshows or presentations but would say Nero again ...

If you're using a PC look around in your programs. Nero Express comes pre-installed with many PCs. If it isn't there, Express should be a free download because they want to taunt you into buying the full version.
