The model I have is the adventure 6. It has a waist strap on it also ( I wish It was detachable though, I may work on that.)
here is a link,

I have about 6 bags, none of them are quite right for my intended use. Fire sale coming soon. What I'm looking for is a small slender pack, like one of the smaller "slings", but with two straps, a quick release for easy access. A separate lined pouch for a water bag, would be a nice feature.

I ride a bicycle/motorcycle and want to take along one camera, and perhaps a couple other items, like a phone, cleaning rag, lunch, maybe a couple filters, etc. I also hike and ski. I need a small light aerodynamic bag. Slings are pretty close but they sit sideways and they invariably shift when riding, which is not good. That's why I want two straps (backpack style).

Any suggestions?

Your post popped up just as I came across the Case Logic CPL-108 DSLR camera and iPad backpack on the Amazon site. Available for $66.55 from Camera Camera. I like it because it is a very simple compact bag without extra buckles and straps.
I have at LEAST 10 bags and am zeroing in on the simplest one for my EM - 1 and 2 additional lenses.
Cheers.

bought a kata camera back pack several yrs. ago. holds a lap top, has several pockets/compartments for lenses.......all the small stuff as in batteries, lens wrenches, extra cards, filters...you name it. works fine for me...stays on the back unless i take it off. zippers on the outside compartments.

I hike and bike as well and find that I use this Lowepro fanny pack most of the time. Room for 2-3 lenses, a flash, some small accessories. But I never put my camera body in a bag, always in hand (well, not while riding but close at hand)

That's the Fastpack 100 in the pictures. Highly recommended, it's the best pack I've encountered so far.

I have 10 plus bags and non are perfect.
If I was still riding my bike I would use a cotton carrier and put a photo vest over the top of it. You can put all of the smaller items in the vest and the camera is ready for use.
The only thing perfect is the Pope and me. I'm not too sure about the Pope.

Lowepro Slingshot 102 AW
This is what I use when biking, hiking, etc when I need the convenience of a backpack that will stay on my back, but allow access to the camera quickly. It will also allow you to strap a tripod to the side.

I would need a bag with wheels. If not then someone with a strong back and a weak mind.

They make those as well:

However, I thought the OP wanted something smaller and lighter than a standard type backpack, and more stable than a sling.
