Oly. E-520 CF card not working

I have an Olympus E-520 that was boxed for a few months.
Battery was removed, put a working battery in and it will not power up. Take card out, remove the battery and camera powers up without the card. All settings are there. When I put the CF card in camera it won't power up.
Any help please.

Try a different card. Or put that card in a card reader attached to your computer and format the card, then try it in the camera again.

Thanks, but I don't have a card reader. I use USB to download my pix. to PC. I have tried 3 other cards.

Then I would suggest shining a light into the empty card slot to see if you have any bent pins, they are very fragile.

Sounds like its time for a new camera then. Electronic repairs on those older Oly 4/3 cameras will cost more than the replacement value of the camera.
