Hi,

Are you using a tripod with all these fantastic photos? I have been trying to talk myself out of the Big Sig, but these are fantastic and make me want the Tamron.

No, Pat I never use a tripod for my wildlife shots. This lens with it's fast focus and great VC (vibration compensation) make it easier to hand hold while taking my shots.

Thanks Regis for your time to reply. I am amazed that these are all handheld. Wow!!! is all I can say.

Thank you, riverenfp. Anybody that knows me will tell you or anyone that I never use a tripod or monopod for my wildlife and landscape shots because I don't have the patience to use one or the other. I like to move around very fast, but I do take multiple shots in case a few do not turn out well.

Well Regis, You done it again. I think sometime soon I will invest in the Tamron 150-600. Great Pictures.

Thank you very much, BigJake. This the best large lens I have. I wish I had this lens back in December when the bald eagles were here.
