Hi all
I have recently developed an interest in photography and purchased a nikon d3200. I still have a lot to learn but have been having lots of fun out with my wife and kids taking photos and having our own photo contests after each outing with my wife being the judge lol. I also traded a fish tank i had for a nikon d80 with a few lenses so we are reasonably well equipped now.
Here is our latest family contest winner taken last weekend at Sunken gardens. Looking forward to hearing from you guys and learning more.

Welcome to the Hog. Watch Groupon, they have offers for Sunken Gardens passes. I bought a family pass for a year for $25. Boyd hill also has some great programs and wonderful photo opps.

Hi from Vermont! I too am new to photography. I shot an olympus sp590uz. I purchased it used and was terrified of the thing. I took a course at our community college entitled " don't fear your camera" and it cured me. Best decision I've made in a lot of years.

Hi installman. Welcome to the hog. I think you have the right idea getting the family involved. It is a great hobby, one that the entire family can participate in. You and the family will learn so much here. Your first post is really greatÂ…i love the hands holding the flower. Very different.
