Another below freezing morning, took a photo of aspen tree branch with frost. Tried a high aperture setting.

Thank you Bret. Not sure if this qualifies as macro. Here were my settings.

F/32
SS - 1/30
ISO - 800
focal distance 1.3 ft (close as I could get and keep focus)

lens Nikon Micro 105mm.
camera Nikon D7100 - HDR mode

Both images are wonderful. The second one is my favorite... looks colder... fits the subject matter.
I do think these qualify as "macro".

Thank you for the positive comment Rena. The first one was hand help. The second the camera was mounted on tripod, mirror-up using a remote release.

Thank you Riverlass , I did some PP using Aperture to get that 'cool' look. Also minor crop.
