I am seeing a lot of snowy owl photos. I am in NH is there some thing happening to bring them to New England? A freind saw one or two around Plumb Island in Newbury MA.
I downloads the full file and want to say it is much better than nice. Has a portrait quality that give the owl a personality. This feels like the result of a lot of thought and work.
Can not tell if it is the same one, but they are beautiful. I also found one on Seagull beach in Yarmouth that same day. It is a real honor to see them close up.

It was such a treat being able to get that close.... Thank you for the comment. There's also some in Chatham and also Orleans. Not sure the location yet but I will find out.

You have a great set on flickered Profg thanks for sharing
It happens about every 7 years. An overabundance of food up north means an overabundance of snowy owls. They come south but ultimately head back north as the population equalizes. I took this picture today in Stratford CT (Long Beach)
