Photography Blog Question

I have done a free WordPress Blog before. I'd like to start a new one. While my first certainly permitted me to include pictures, inserting them into the blog was not always great.
Is someone using a 'theme' for their WordPress blog that is photography friendly? If so, could you provide me with the name of the theme and maybe a link to the blog?
This blog will be part travel blog and part daily posting blog where I can insert pictures I take while traveling or just walking around my own city.

The basic theme itself I believe is free, but I pay for a custom package that allows you to change colors and type fonts etc.

I will be doing the same shortly. I have not used Photocrati yet but all the reviews are very positive. They are not free but it may save you a lot of work. They support woo commerce so you can build a sales feature. I believe they also have image download protection or you can use a plug-in

I chose this free modularity theme for a gallery mostly due to its simplicity and dark color scheme. I also installed the NextGen Gallery plugin. Really great tool for managing photo galleries.
