Love the thistle! Great photo showing a story of the ugly duckling to a beautiful bloom...at least that is my interpretation...lol

Thanks Anne Marie. Posting that reminded me that I had other bird of paradise pictures that I had not cataloged yet so I went on a mission to find them. Here is one in full bloom. You can see that the points on the blue part are dead and brown.
