You would love it this time of year, manatee count yesterday was huge and think it will be bigger today. I'm about six miles from the spring so I can go often. Thanks Photog8 for stopping by and for the nice comment. If you have time check the first post also, I split them up today. Thanks again.

Thanks photophile appreciate you stopping by and the nice comments, you would have loved it early this morning; must have been 200 or more manatees in the spring run.

Great shots Jim, always sorry to see the prop scars on the manatees, unfortunately like fisherman snagging birds, boaters have no idea of the damage they do, neither one is taught, you just pay your money and are set free, to do as you please

Thanks gregory for the kind comments, it's getting so bad with some of these weekend warriors, that I find myself staying off the river on the weekends or getting back in the swamp as fast as I can. My luxury watercraft is a 15 ft Gheenoe with a 4 hp yamaha, so it gets me where the wildlife lives but I can't compete with those high powered boats. So yeah, injured wildlife is a big sore spot with me, birds or manatees. Thanks again for viewing. Stay warm.
