Hello everyone, If you could have only one tripod and head combination for birding - nature - landscape photography, what would it be and why? Thank you for your responces.
Looking to purchase a new tripod soon and need input from fine photographers. Thanks to all! :thumbup:

I am quite happy with my current setup: Induro tripod legs, monopod, and ball head. They have both carbon-fiber and aluminum (I have the CF), and different quality levels (I have 3 out of 4).

Load, weight, quality, and cost are important factors in deciding what you want.

If you could have only one pair of pants what material would you choose? Same difference.

My next one will be something like: Induro CT-214 with Induro GHBA GH-Series Aluminum Gimbal Head for Arca-Swiss QR Clamp.

Acratech gps. The side "gimbal" is great to have. I use the Manfrotto 190pro3cx with it.

* Induro CT-214: 1.5 kg
* Induro BHL-1: 0.43kg
total: 1.9kg/4.2lbs. Picking it up, that feels about right.
