So far, most of the analysts agree that enough legislators from both parties supported this legislation and the political advantage over it is about nill. As far as the governorship is concerned, there are no viable opponents yet. Foley was a promising candidate until he shot his mouth off with unsupported innuendo regarding King Malloy. We'll see!! :)

I think that they were stupid sheeples who will give up their guns to the govt. I will NEVER register or give up my guns.

Hey DaveO, When the state tells you to turn in your gun, you going to do it to keep from being a "felon"? I bet you will.As for me they can brand me anything they want but the govt WONT get my guns. I have guts,unlike you sheeples

At least I respect your opinions and have no need to resort to name calling. It seems that your respect for the law and others is limited. Those are not good credentials for people possessing guns.

Ken, over the years I've heard many responses and do not wish to re-argue. I am prior military, law enforcement, nucleur facility tactical officer and a past competitive shooter. (Running about a 10 state area and re-loading and shooting roughly 10,000 rounds per year. Arthritus in my hands makes it tough now.) My point being that I enjoy guns, but to let my alligator mouth over-ride my hummingbird ass regarding my proposed disregard for the law would be counter-productive and not in my best interests. I objected to "sheeples" because by definition that implies that I did no "critical analysis or research." Definitely not true! :)

The sheeple think they belong to the government, when in reality the government belongs to "We the people". Until enough of us say "ENOUGH!" and mean it the politicians will lead their weak minded minions to the dungeon, and they will all be singing Kumbaya right up to the point they realize they have been put in chains by those they trusted to have their best interest at heart. Yeah right, remember those three big lies? Just remember the biggest one is "I'm from the government and I'm here to help you."

could not have said better.we the shooters and gun owners have a duty to follow our 2nd. amd. not the bleeding hearts that now have a very loud voice on the media.For our fearless leaders in DC that are anti gun what will replace the lost revenue if the arms industries are closed due to lack of sales?We are the country that has the largest gun owner ship in the world what will the libers do try to but us all in prison.tell OBUMMER to start building the lock ups unless I miss judge my fellow shooters and reloaders.
