From a perspective of standing above a frozen river on a footpath bridge attached to a railroad bridge I found this mountainous landscape in the river below.

M&M'S on ice
pg 25. yummmmm.....like your colorful effect RR!
I looked up the recipe for making bubbles that uses karo syrup.....was -9F this a.m. and found the bubbles blew larger but also quickly froze and broke. I did capture one...not so large bubble.....
My first bubble mixture I added red food coloring hoping for some color results (may have not used enough coloring) and also found I had to be so careful when using the mixture because of the dye so froze up a couple desserts. Again, my brain could not come up with a way to effectively shoot the creations.....and no water tank to drop them in.....so made this bubble solution into a drink....
Shot this a.m. at -9F.....used karo syrup bubble recipe
and my bubble drink with ice to keep it cold.....

These are great Trixsy! #3... is it a glacier that is collapsing or is it a frozen waterfalls?
The whole glacier is a mass of ice that moves like a frozen river, As it reaches water the leading edge is constantly breaking away and sliding into the water in "chunks" forming quite large icebergs in some cases, Even "small" iceburgs can be a danger to sight seeing boats!

I then did some other things with the cubes.
The last one is very effective. This topic has really got people working and talking. How do we find the time!
pg 25 Might not have been as good as you'd hoped but look at those wonderful icy shapes - looks like a river / estuary on the bubble
.

I am on my way outside to shovel that white stuff that everybody says "We" need! I wish "We" would come over and get it so I don't have to!

You have all the right techniques Pat! If you can find a container somewhere that is flat (no warping) you will have it down pat in no time! I think your focus was pretty darn good considering the pitcher is round!

Thanks, Clicker. Am looking for an aquarium or something. It was fun to try and improvise, though. Learned from it and I guess that is the biggest thing.

I have answered above...but I just want to reinforce...you did a wonderful job Pat!!!
p24 Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, we were posting at the same time :) Sometimes it is easier to view other's posts than it is to make your lazy self try something, but I really want to learn so made myself do it. Glad I did. It would be fun to do with my grandson too.
