Washington monument and the Jefferson memorial
Your Jefferson Memorial shot is very lovely. I lived in the area for 6 years and enjoyed shooting in and around there and the Tidal Basin.
I agree with Linda. The Washington Monument works better in daylight on a day when the sky is blue and there are some gorgeous clouds to go with it. The Jefferson Memorial is wonderful when the Japanese Cherry trees are in bloom.
Really love the first one.
Thanks. It works well on my smartphone as the home screen because of the orientation.
Very nice photos. The scaffolding on the Washington memorial would probably ruin the shot in the day time; but at night it gives the structure a unique look.
The first one is beautiful.
Washington has many beautiful places to shot but the surrounding area is also very good I lived in Western Maryland and spent many hours roaming the back street of Old Harpers Ferry in fact I lived in the old town for several months. I have had the pleasure of also going to the LDS Chapel during the Christmas Season where they had a live Manger Set it is also just as breath taking as downtown Washington. But the shots you have taken are nice clear and to the saying Spot on.
I love the shoot of the Washington Monument. That scaffolding is just about down now. I photographer the Jefferson just at dusk and got the blue sky at twilight.
This is a great area for shooting photographs.+
