What Did You Get for Christmas?

I got the coolest things. A computer tablet. A remote controlled flying UFO. And, my fav? My two Jam Plus Bluetooth speakers that give incredible sound from little speakers.
Which brings me to one of my pet peeves. Why on earth, if we can produce great audio from tiny speakers, then why the heck can't we produce good audio speakers in HDTV's? Why does my new HDTV audio suck? In fact, I don't think I've EVER heard decent sounding speakers on a TV yet. EVER. My mom got a different brand of Bluetooth speaker and her's his HALF as big as mine and produces a broader frequency range. Hmm. $29 speaker produces better sound than most $2000 HDTVs. TV speakers suck. (I wonder if there's a law that requires TV manufacturers to make poor speakers.)

i got surround, an was watching a cowboy shootem-up. i raised up looked behind me. the dang hores was behind me all sudden.

Your right Mark..tele's have crap sound. I got some surround sound headphones, so when my good wife go's to bed I can still have the sound cranked up without disturbing her. But I have been looking at these new 4k televisions and the picture and sound is fantastic..only trouble is cost, and none of the networks here are transmitting yet in 4k!!!
