Those are great, I have yet to get a blasted lightning shot. Maybe this year.

Terrific Photos especially as I drove up over the bridge / Tunnel last month from Newport News to Delaware.
My plane landed at 3:30pm and I got lost in the area for a couple or three hours so missed the daylight but came back in the morning and it was some experience. Driving up from Florida soon so will plan it better next time. Theresa and I will be going over the bridge on SR259 just above New Castle so will watch out for you and your camera.
Thanks so much for the pix.

i wasn't thinking about how close they were, just WOW, how any shots can I get. I was outside for 20+ minutes manually holding shutter open. There is an island about 2 miles away and I believe it was getting hammered by the lightning!! Ya never know when you get another chance. I'll think better next time.

My son lived in chesapeake, VA for a while and I saw unbelievable lightning in the bay one time crossing the BBtunnel, my wife wanted to turn back. It was really a BAD light show

first u need to have a screw loose to be outside taking them. I was 20 ft from a bulkhead and about 50 ft from a 100 ft flagpole. Crazy isn't the word.
