Very nice. You are fortunate to have been there when the mountain was clear. I understand that is a fairly uncommon occurrence.

yes we were fortunate! the day before it snowed and they closed the park. it is normally in the clouds. Denali is around 300 mile from where we live but we can see it in the distance on clear days.

the fox I used the 100-400mm with a 2x converter.
I no longer have the 50D, I no have a 7D and a T2i that my wife uses, or it's my second body if she is not with me.

That would be Mt McKinley in the background.I too visited Denali National Park in 1996.Love your shots of the wildlife,especially the fox.

That bear picture is a wall hanger. Well taken photo of a beautiful bear, like he agreed to pose for you, even shows his pretty toenails. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice photos. Denali is a wonder to see. Here is a picture I got back in 2010 when on an Alaska tour - Canon 5DMII w/ 24-105 L f/4 lens. This is of the Polychrome pass. Have more photos of Alaska on my website if you're interested in looking.
