First one, perfect. Very natural. Good job.
Second one looks a bit tonemapped. Seems to have a lack of shadows, has the grain associated with tonemapping, and the sky is darker than the beach. It's close, but needs a bit of tweaking IMO.

Not overdone at all. Excellent. I am trying to get members of my photoclub to get an appreciation for what you can do with HDR. I am going to show them yours as an example of how to do it properly. What most of the have seen is the overworked stuff that looks like cartoons. I have also found that HDR does wonders for wildlife photos, horses and dogs. It really brings out the feathers and muscle tones of the animals. Again thanks
