Keep shooting - use paper plates, problem solved.

Welllllll.... That is only true if you like taking photographs! Granted, everyone reading this probalby does, but does everyone?
Just imagine - the soapy feel of a squeaky-clean plate; the fun splashing around in all those suds; the deep sense of satisfaction when you finally get all the grease scrubbed off that pot; the - oh, never mind. If you don't have it, then you wouldn't understand it...
 :XD:
in a decent resturant or cafeteria you get free meals or 1/2 off.
Probaby get more respect as a dishwasher.
It looks like I'm screwed. I am employed as a dishwasher at the local prison. I'm selling my camera.
Use paper plates, plastic utensils, and styrofoam cups and you never have to wash dishes giving you more time to make no money taking pictures.

Bet my St. bernard does a better job!
Looks like we have a choice, either photograph Bloke washing dishes or eat out more.

My dishwasher broke...wife say she refuses to do any more dishes. Told her that the blonde next door would work, but she also wants "privileges."
Wife hit me with a dirty waffle iron.
Ah yes, the story about the man who was fired as the Maitr'de at a fine restaurant. Came home and told his wife. Turned out he got his hand caught in the dishwasher.
Dishwashers certainly have less equipment expense. No software expense. Probably make more money than most who profess to be professional photographers.
"f8 and be there" does not a professional make.

My experience with jobs has been this: The more money your job pays, the more your job sucks and the more it makes your life miserable.
Being a photojournalist is not a money making proposition; it has to be a labor of love.

I disagree with your premise... I drive a big yellow school bus, get abused by the kids, treated like c**p by the schools, and get paid a pittance for doing it. I wouldn't mind being this miserable, if I earned enough to indulge my hobbies more...
My theory of financial compensation is that if it looks like fun, like photography or any other art, the average person cannot make much money at it. That is why I believe the average civil engineer makes more money than the average architect. Who grew up wanting to design a sewage plant. I also believe the skills are equivalent in both professions.

Oh...Idunno...ponder the profound creative opportunities inherent in the swirls and crafted smears of remnant grease on spoons, glasses, knives, and espcially clear glass saucers and platters! The creative mind boggles!
