Looking for your thoughts on what would make them better Believe both are as shot. Both late afternoon. The bridge is painted black but wanting to see how the late evening sun would look. Taken with a Canon 7D

Really like the second especially with the reflection. I don't know what would make it better. :)
I too like the second for the way the light is hitting the bridge
thank all of you for your kind words. Tried to find a way to get the little buildings on the bottom right out of picture. probably cou;d if moved to other end of bridge but then sun would be in wrong place. Idea maybe need to go early morning on the oppisite end but no wait would probably have busy clutter in back ground oh well glad what I have

Both nice, like the perspective in 2. Where about on the Brazos were these shot.
#2 only because of the reflection.

Only change I would make to 1 is to show all of the bridge superstructure...it currently trails off stage left.

I, too, am trying to improve. I like your second shot because it gives the bridge a little "space" around it, compared to #1, which looks a little cramped. Just my humble opinion, tho. Love the lighting.
Texas guy, I like them both (Love bridge shots) I too vote for number #2 with the reflection and a little more bridge showing. The bridge structure on #1 is a little busy up close for my eyes, but I still like it.
We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
