It's called a Bairds Tapir. From Central America.....it's known as different names in different regions. But for the sake of looking up more info......if you were interested, you can search Bairds Tapir. That's probably more info than you wanted...sorry bout that!

OK now my wife tells me I have seen them at Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo NSW. So much for my memory!! Thanks for the info. Now if I can only retain it. Endangered species according to the web.
