A couple cold, dark, moody shots on my way home tonight... 1st snow dusting of the season in my area...

Thanks Bmac.. :) Glad you enjoy my photos...Not sure that I take amazing photographs. Most are pretty bland before I do my PP styling.. These may be a little too moody for some, but I have other photos that make up for that....

I like them no matter how you arrive at the finished product which is the bottom line. :D

Your second photo really jumped out at me. I think what I liked is all the twiggy detail of the lone tree(s) contrasted by bright cloudy/foggy background. The lower third provides a nice (and necessary?) base for the rest of the photo.

Both very good. I think I like the one with the barn the best. But then again, I'm partial to barns. The second shot is also quite good. I like what you did with the tree, and the wet road also helps the composition. Nicely done.

Ed, thank you.... I thought the perspective of the road was just as much of the photo as the tree.. I do like the was the detail of the small branches contrasted on the sky.... I appreciate you comments... :)

I love shots like these. I don't know what it is but the look of a bare tree against a gloomy sky, dark, and cold....I just like it.
