I a Costco membership required to purchase this offer?
I didn't think nonmembers could order so I tried it. At checkout there is a $4 dollar nonmember surcharge for a total price of $53.99 plus tax, if any.
Yes there is a $4 surcharge. Also many stores price match such as sams club and best buy.
Another thought. Version 12 didn't add anything I want, but PSE 11 is still selling for $70 at Amazon. I'm hoping this lower price on PSE 12 will bring out some lower prices on PSE 11 on Craigslist.

Is anyone legally allowed to sell software?
As I recall, the "Costco Edition" adds a shortcut to having prints sent to Costco's 1 hour print service, some free prints and a discount on a canvas print.

If you're asking about reselling on Craigslist, I really don't know, but it happens all the time. I'll check that out.

I bought a version of Rosetta Stone on ebay. A couple of years later, I tried to sell it, and ebay said that was illegal.
Well, I found out sams club doesn't price match and best buy stated since costco wasn't local (it's across the lake) they wouldn't price match.
So I just purchased it from costco and paid the non-member price with tax around $57.34.
I've been wanting it for awhile and decided to get the latest version, I don't think this is a bad price to pay.
