G, you can use a high f stop which will keep the shutter open longer and move the camera around. My step-son and the Christmas that would rotate, and when I did a long exposure it look like it had light rings around it.
I used a pen light with the lens off and only the small blub shining and would spin around.

Yep those are great. My pictures were just from walking around looking at christmas lights. I will have to play around with light again. I did it another time with a cheap little stone. and a cd.
