Let's take a closer look at the questions

#1 All radioactivity is man-made. Is this statement…

This is TRUE! Mr Peabody used his "Wayback machine" to go back in time, detonated some bombs, blew up some dinosaurs, and there you have it!

#2 Electrons are smaller than atoms. Is this statement…

This is FALSE! When a Politician goes up for re-election, they are known for being a big bag of wind! A big bag of wind is larger then an atom!

#3 Lasers work by focusing sound waves. Is this statement…

TRUE! Think about it. In Star-Trek, when they fire their fasers, you can hear the sound being compressed and focused!

#4 The continents on which we live have been moving their location for millions of years and will continue to move in the future. Is this statement…

False! I've stood on the beach before for over an hour, and I don't recall ever seeing any continents go by!

#5 Which one of the following types of solar radiation does sunscreen protect the skin from?

The answer is Microwaves! Next time you cook a turkey in the microwave oven, apply a liberal amount of sunscreen to the bird first. You'll see that the bird will NOT cook!

#6 Does nanotechnology deal with things that are extremely…

The correct answer is HOT! Everybody knows the the word "Nano" comes from the 1970's TV show "Mork and Mindy". This was a "Hot" TV show!

#7 Which gas makes up most of the Earth’s atmosphere?

This was a trick question. the true answer (was not even listed) was METHANE. Believe me, I should know. I contribute to this gas all the time!

#8 What is the main function of red blood cells?

The correct answer is "to help the Bood to Clot". Next time you cut yourself and start bleeding, after the bleeding stops, what color is the cut.

#9 Which of these is a major concern about the overuse of antibiotics?

The correct answer is "People will become addicted to them". To understand this question and the answer, I'll break down this question. First, lets start with the first part...Anti. Anti would also be know as against something. Like anti-establishment. Not always a good thing. The middle part is "Bio". These would be facts about the person in question, like their Bio. The last part would be "Tics". A person starts making strange sounds and movements, and they are said to have "Tics". This is not good. So, when you put all 3 parts together, you have a person who "is against the establishment, who talks too much about themselves, and makes strange movements and noises".

#10 Which is an example of a chemical reaction?

The correct answer is Boiling water. We all know that water is a mixture of chemicals that are put together. To better explain this, bring a pot of water to a boil. Now, stick your finger in this pot. I guarantee you there will be a reaction!

#11 Which is the better way to determine whether a new drug is effective in treating a disease? If a scientist has a group of 1,000 volunteers with the disease to study, should she…

The question itself is biased, because why should we assume that the scientist HAS to be a "She"? Throw this one out!

#12 What gas do most scientists believe causes temperatures in the atmosphere to rise?

Again, the correct answer was not even used! The correct answer is "Methane". Believe me, when I contribute to this problem, it is hot coming out!

#13 Which natural resource is extracted in a process known as “fracking”?

The correct answer is Diamonds! Every guy knows that if you give a woman a big diamond, then you'll have plenty of "Fracking" that night!

Now, how many of you really got the correct answers?

;D
