The important thing to remember is that the resale value of a coloured camera is much, much lower than a conventional black or silver one.

Not so. Colord cameras from the 30's & 40's gofor 10 times the black ones. And most of us buy a camera to use and have fun with not for resale. - Dave

What gives? WHAT GIVES? JR can't sneeze without the gang of bullies attacking him. There is a vendetta going on and quite a few are feeding into it. Like rabid animals in a frenzy, they feed on each other. A "chill pill" isn't going to work. They're too far gone.
I wouldn't want a pink camera, but I know a lot of woman who would. It is a advertizing game and they are trying to appeal to a wider market. Have no fear... the black camera is here to stay.
