#1 - maybe a touch more contrast in post-processing?
#2 - a little soft - was this an HDR photo?

Your shots look good. My formula for improving my own photos is to read a great deal including this forum, take lots of pictures and have fun. A camera is a great way to see the world around us.

Nice photos with your new camera. My only suggestion is to watch the foreground (1st picture) as the greenery is distracting from the remainder of an excellent composition.

Thank You for looking at them and your comments. It is a Canon 60D. SB not sure what HDR is.

1st image. Love to stay in that hotel one day! The foliage in the foreground dominates, especially the one sticking up in the middle, when the attention should be on the lovely buildings and sky. I would crop off to the base of that branch, clone out the branch and crop and/or clone the foliage on the left. Also crop off the sky a bit. This will improve the composition and allows one to see through to the buildings. Increase contrast and sharpness. If you are still there, move towards the pier and use it as the 'leading line' to the buildings.
2nd image. Nice time of day to shoot. Many nice things about this image - composition, lighting, exposure, interesting objects. Probably a slowish shutter speed causing slight un-sharpness. Increase ISO or use a tripod or support it on some thing. Crop/clone out bather in the spa.
3rd image. Nice shot. Sharp. Crop top and left to improve composition. Next time give a bit more space on the right as the flower is dragging my eyes out of the picture.
Hope you had/are having a great time.

I need to learn how to clone out, and make photos sharper but wanted the unedited version to see what I need to improve on, hard to see on your own sometimes. Thank You for all your help, will work on them.
