Wow! I don't know much about Ted Cruz, but I think I will start taking a hard look at this man. Seems like we may have found someone who actually listens to those who put him in office.

The speech was by his father but I think Ted Cruz may be a good man if he's anything like his father. He has his share of critics like any politician but is probably in the top 1% of that group in D.C. Of course if you consider the other 99% it's not hard to rise to the top. Time will tell. He might be the choice to run against Hell-ary. This country needs better. :thumbup:

For the job of spending the taxpayer's money, ALL applicants need to be most thoroughly scrutinized, and watched very carefully as they perform their duties. The job of "politician" seems to attract a very seedy lot of applicants. Even if they look great, we must be very vigilant.

It's all about bullshitting the voters. Looking and sounding great and not having a clue about your "job". Try that in the private sector and see how many paychecks you get before the boss realizes you're an incompetent fool. Unfortunately the majority of voters didn't realize this. :shock:

He is brilliant all right. Suckered the Republicans into an un winnable fight to defund the ACA. Plunged the government into a useless shutdown and bombed the GOP into their lowest poll ratings ever. Keep it up Ted.

Yes, the president has made mistakes too. I am surprised that he hasn't made more considering the assault from the right wing for the past 5 years.

So that's the reason all Obummer makes so many mistakes. mistakes. Criticism. Hard to believe it only comes from the right wing when a leftie is in office and never the other way around. :roll:

No president has ever faced this kind of assault. Not even the traditional "honeymoon" period. All presidents are assaulted by the opposition, but this has been off the charts.

I would put more credence on that if the assaults came after he was in office for a year or so. The assaults came even before he took the oath of office.
Limbaugh said he wanted Obama to fail and he was joined by most of the talking heads on Fox right out of the box. Mitch McConnell said his number one goal was to make Obama a one term president. How's that for cooperation ? And, the attacks are vicious. Just look at the insults on this board. Far worse than anything ever said about Bush.
