We must eat popcorn at the movies because it is such a good value. :thumbdown: Even though they charge us 28 times what Orville Redenbacher does, we still buy it at movies over and over and over. Thought there was a law about price gouging? And monopolies. I think I'd prefer to pay more for my ticket rather than getting screwed at the concession counter.

The theater gets nothing from the ticket price. It all goes to the movie owner. The theater gets most if not all the concession net proceeds,
