new to photoshop elements, just got photoshop elements 10 and just wondering if someone can recommend a good tutorial I will look at youtube but would like something in front of me to read. thanks
Tons of tutorials for free at Adobe.com
I bought the book "The Photoshop Elements 10 for digital photographers" by Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski. As the back cover states, "...it cuts through the bull and shows you exactly how to do it." They designed the book so everybody could follow along no matter where they are in the Elements experience. Very good step by step instructions for each tool.
ditto on the scott & matt books...I have PSE9 and , it's coincidental to this post but in my email today there was a note from Amazon wanting me to sell back back my scott/mat PSE9 book....NO WAY, it's invaluable to me just as my Bryan Peterson photography books are...
"Photoshop Elements 10 for DUMMIES"
thanks everyone, will look at the scott and matt book
Photoshop Elements 10 for Windows and Mac OS X: Visual QuickStart Guide
I just started a class on PSE 10 and the only requirement for the class was to have the book called "Adobe Photoshop 10 - Classroom in a Book." My local B&N store was out, so had to order it & have it shipped. I personally find that it's easier to have the book in front of me when working with my PSE 9 version. I have the book that is the "Kelby" edition for my PSE 9. I'm unsure at this point if I'll purchase the PSE 10 version as I just bought my 9 version middle of 2011. If you have the book to use, then you're only pages away from finding help instead of leaving what you're working on & searching for the help online. This is just my opinion.

I have this one also. An easy read, as well as a good reference.....and it does cut through the bull.
