Your ink drawing is most Intricate and excellent. Also your second Island in the Rockey River is very lovely. Thanks for these sharings.
Thank you Fred Ann. I had to learn some patience when doing pen and ink drawings, also careful observation of the subject. I'm glad you enjoyed my island shot, too.

Great job on the Calendar Sher!!!!! Can you post it again with store original so I can see it better?????
After being Inspired by Sharecropper's large Ice tongs I went in search of my Icesaw. And I found it, as I had suspected in our garage, however it is stored up high in the rafters and I can't get it down on my own, so I took pictures of parts of it. This Icesaw isn't ever used anymore but it contains many memories for me. As I gazed at the large saw teeth. I found myself thinking of Red Riding Hood and her conversation with the wolf when she remarked. " My, What big teeth you have!!!". But the wolf did not reply with, " All the better to saw ice with my dear!" and that was my imagined conversation of when I saw the icesaw again. Anyway I present my ice saw with these pictures!
what big teeth you have
ice saw up in the rafters
I will keep it forever!

I agree with you, Fred Ann. The sulphurs are not very cooperative. Another difficult one was this hummingbird moth.
And a beautiful image it is!

LOL! I knew as soon as I posted it that I had forgotten...counted the legs and decided I would leave them to see who noticed. You are not called mooseeyes for nothing! LOL! Like the idea of icky! Although...I used to say something else when I was surprised by them! (can't repeat) LOL... Now I look for them to photograph and my husband says a few things when he finds them in a container in the fridge!

All of your images are very well taken and presented. One thing though. . .a spider is not an insect. Insects have six legs, while spiders (Arachnids) and others from the class Arachnida have eight legs.
They (insects & spiders) can fall into a common classification of "things that generally need to be gased, poisioned or stepped on" when found in the house or garage, otherwise known as creepy crawly things, or to the lesser infomed: Bugs! Add the adjective "icky" to spider, and you are back in the "I" game.

SueJay, These are all solid "I" subjects, well captured and creative. They each tell a story. The impala and the lioness is plum wonderful. Good work here on all of these images.
