The bottom picture looks like he is well fed. I like pelicans also, here are a couple of my shots. Have to show you the one in the sky- even though it was at a great distance- wish I would have taken it in RAW so I could have enlarged it. The wings were in perfect union. The "twins" were nice too, but there was trash in between them. Think I need to figure out how to use a photo editing program. Well maybe after I figure out the photography :-)

These are great shots....thanks for sharing. I enjoy taking photos of pelicans more than anything else I do.

I have been seeing a lot of the type pelicans in your first photo over at Dolphin Island, but not too many in the Pascagoula area.
