I can not resist the cute grandchildren. I have a couple myself. They are neat and so are your photos of your "grands".

Thanks for the input. Aren't grands Great! My granddaughter loves to play dress up, and so does this MeMe. She loves getting her photo made as well but her little brother likes to be a big cheese. Actually had several really good shots when we went to the battleship as noted in the first photo. :-)

I love the composition of the little sailor. The mountain scene is nice but I think it loses stature being displayed with the portraits. The little girl is beautiful but I think I'd like to see her with her face lightened and less made-up or a softer color makeup used.

The picture of the girl borders on child abuse/endangerment(when does she get to be just a child?). Why do some parents have to live out their fantasies through their children?

Well 'flash gordon' shame on you for thinking that way. Can you tell me how you figure this? She happens to be enjoying her childhood because she likes to play dress up and like most all little girls likes to play with make up. She likes to dance and many little girls dream of being ballerinas. Typically she is running around with her hair all down, playing with dolls or aggravating her brother. I'm thinking you haven't been around to many little girls, which actually may be a good thing. Do try to look at it with respect to lighting, composition, clarity and the likes. Thanks, :D

Don't pay any attention to the fool, I hate to think what he would say about my two girls, both are on their competitive dance team for their studio, we spend 8+hours a week at the studio (more during the summer). Not my idea of fun and I'm not living my dreams of being a stay at home mom out, that $3,000+ (x2) a year for dance expenses has to come from somewhere so off to work this Momma goes. Sigh....

Thanks photophly. I am hoping to have me a little 'studio' one day. I'm not exactly retired but at the moment not obligated to a job. So far I have only done a few other people outside my own family and my church family. Hoping to see more in 2012. I really enjoy doing this.

I see why you like my little Cracker Jack, lol. It was a blast doing these with him and his sister which happens to be photo of the little girl. Had them both in sailor suits I had made for this occasion. They had a ball. Also toured the submarine. I'm going to get to photoshop one day. When I can settle myself and brain down to it. Thanks so much for your input. :D

Thanks for you input Elle. I was trying to put up different scenarios of lighting but maybe should keep things grouped together from now on. Will enjoy hearing more from you. :-)

You will really enjoy a studio setup......I have one in My basement and spend hours composing shots and adjusting the lighting.....a great past time and loads of fun.

:D Had to poke back a little tho. Glad you had my back, lol. I'm the MeMe and when I'm working (only part time) it goes to my grandbabies. Would like to get her in a dance class, she would love it. And you go Momma, those girls will appreciate the time and effort you took for them to take dance since it is something they like. Thanks bunches.
