A Thought and Suggestion for Amusement Park Photos

Hey Folks,

Don't expect that you can take a full-deal DSLR with lenses on an amusement park ride! AND DON'T! You will subject your camera to G-forces and perhaps water penetration and other conditions beyond your control!

I have been accelerated, decelerated, wetted beyond expectations, heated above human expectations for survival, and sweated in horrible sweltering conditions for up to 2 hours in line for a 3-minute ride!

Don't take your DLSR along with you on any of these rides. Gosh, either stay off the ride and take pics or give the DSLR camera to someone you trust.

Instead, take a pocket digital camera along with you on the ride. I use a Panasonic DMC-SZ7, that I wear on my belt and can use anytime I need. With some 14 mp's, a 10X Leica lens, I can take some great pics; all contained in a waterproof belt attached thing-of-a-majob.

Love you other UHHOGS,

Gary
