This should be very simple. No censorship. If you do not like the topic then don't join in. You don't have to be rude by leaving a post. No one is trying to shove religion or political views down your throat if you do not take part in the discussions.

On initial read, I agreed with that proposal because I find it sad that posts get so hurtful and attacking, and you're right...that kind of discourse is not going to change anyone's mind, just polarize us into our already held positions.
