Free will is the ability of agents to make choices unconstrained by certain factors. Factors of historical concern have included metaphysical constraints and physical constraints, such as chains or imprisonment. -Wikipedia.
For example, in the religious realm, free will implies that individual will and choices can coexist with an omnipotent divinity. In the law, it affects considerations of punishment and rehabilitation.
Your theological training has exposed you to only one world view regarding free will. There are many definitions which you are not aware of because of your limited and bias indoctrination. GET OFF MY EARTH YOU EVOLUTIONARY MUTANT! YOU ARE TOO STUPID TO EXIST!

Free will is the personal choice one makes of his own accord between two options. To sin or not to sin, to accept or to reject, to love or to hate. You can impose your will upon me to force me to do something that I would normally opposes of my own will like putting me in jail for a choice I had made of my own free will but again, it is also of your own free will not to do so, if you could that is.
What you are saying and here and I must agree with you is that you do not have a free will to make your own decisions in life, as to what makes you happy, who you will marry, what jobs you will work at, what hobbies to enjoy and what political party to join and what President to vote for. You had no choice in any of these? Someone made you do all these thing?
It is also of your own free will to not use name calling when you disagree with someone.

Your comments are totally pointless and unfounded. Post again when you have something to say. Don't waste everyone's time with your meaningless unsubstantiated nonsensical generalizations. If you are a Christian, I can see why. HELLO! ANYBODY HOME?
Actually, I originally joined this group because I thought the topic would be photography. My mistake, I am obviously in the wrong place.
But with regard to your comments, I have learned that when one resorts to "Ad Hominem" attacks, it is generally because they realize that they have run out of "intelligent" things to say and that their position is weak. If "Ignorance is bliss", then you must be a very happy individual.
At this point, I believe that you are supposed to say "Oh, yeah ...?"

Disagree? How can one disagree with a tree?
I think some old trolls have been "resurrected" under new names.

Argumentum ad hominem doesn't apply here because I am NOT ATTACKING YOU but simply stating the obvious deficiencies of your claims. Yes, you are in the wrong place. Read the Forum description. Chit-Chat (non-photography). Investigate before you invest.

One day the religious nuts will say that according to the Bible the world will definitely not end tomorrow. That's the time to look out.

What I said was that slaves did not have those choices and you disagreed with me.
No, I did not disagree with you. It is not the will of a man to be a slave, that is true but it is not to say that even a slave has a free will. All men are born with free will. Their fate in life does not cancel that fact. You paint a picture of a man in chains were as I see a man having two or more options. Whenever the topic of free will comes up some one will use the example of a slave in chains. You can also be a slave to money or a slave to debt, neither having to do with free will.
I felt that this time around you were actually interested in holding a decent discussion without malice. I do not think I can make myself any clearer so I'll let you have the last word.
