These pictures are very good. I can't wait to buy my camera. Any pictures with the 75-300mm lenses?

Most of my shots with that lens are from sporting events. Haven't really used it for much else.

Appreciate the flowers...only had the set up less than a week, and used the green PHD button (push here dummy).

I like it but I mainly got it to take pics of kids playing sports and maybe its me but the autofocus seems to be sluggish at times and it ends up focusing on the wrong subject and I miss the shot.

However I have been using the manual focus on this lens alot more and I tend to be getting better shots. I am new to the DSRL world and it is a good lens so it may be more my fault than the lens as to why I missed those shots.

I will just keep practicing...

Hi,
Funny I don't remember being that good this year, but I got it anyway!!!

So any reviews/comments on the Canon Rebel EOS T3i????

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! :0)

I have the T3i and I love it! I didn't love the lens it came with, so I asked Santa for a better lens and he came through with a Sigma 18-250 OS. :) I think you will LOVE it. I bought a book called the Canon EOS Rebel T3i/600D Digital Field Guide by Charlotte K. Lowrie, and it is outstanding. It's specific to our camera, and has taught me much about how the camera works. It's right in my bag!

Good luck, I know you will love it and will be amazed by the quality of the pics. I haven't posted here on UHH yet, still a bit shy about that, but it's not because of the quality I get with my camera!

I have heard the 75 300 not as good as the 70 300. I have the 70 300 and love it.

The 70 300 looks to have USM and several hundred dollars more so I expect it to be much better.
