It appears that a lot of us posting on your photos are retired. I retired in June and I am liking it a lot. Nice to do what you want, when you want, and how you want. lol. I have nine grandchildren and one is a three year old little girl. She's had the camera pointed at her so much that she makes faces everytime I try to take her picture. They are precious and I'm sure you will have a great day at the park.

My youngest granddaughter is two. Grandpa bought her a toy camera that flashes. So we go out and take pictures together. The problem is she turns the flash towards herself and darn near blinds herself every time she takes a picture. Too cute, too funny. I did not teach her that.

The pictures of the roses are beautiful. Flowers are one of my favorite things to take photos of. And, to top it off, I too am retired. I am so busy I don't have time to work any more. My oldest granddaughter graduated from high-school this spring. Our favorite past time is snow-birding to Arizona for the winter. The coming season will be the fourth year. Terrible thing, but someone has to do it. Have a GREAT DAY!

Thank you,
Az. is a great place to snowbird. We have family in Mesa, Chandler and Surprise. So when ever we get tired if the rain here in Oregon we go there to dry out. You have a GREAT DAY as well.

Thank you vicksart,
My wife is getting homesick. She is a California girl (San Jose)born and raised there. So we are due for our semi annual California fix. I never get tired of visiting that area. Especially The SF Bay area. So much to do and see. A photographers treasure chest.

When I first retired, I started teaching at the local college. And then I noticed that the students were having as much fun as I was, but didn't have to spend several hours preparing weekly lectures. Then I noticed that senior folks like myself can "audit" classes instead of worrying about such nonsense as grades, credits and degrees. I can pick and choose the course and professor I want without having to be told by an advisor what to study. And if the course interferes with travel plans or family events, I can give it a miss for a few days or a few weeks. I am getting smarter by the week, and, best of all - in a refreshing turnabout - am now able annoy the young people in my world!

Retired life is sweet!

I love these roses. I too, am retired; spent 35 yrs. teaching Elem. PE. Now that I have the time, I had foot surgery, so my adventures are limited. Can't wait to get out and about with camera in hand.

The great thing about retirement is...you pretty much do what you want when you want. Today I took pictures of roses. I wonder what i should do tomorrow?

I think you should let the roses take pictures of you, tomorrow. LOL. You did them justice. After enlarging them, they still were nice and sharp. Good pics, Plymouth.
