Hi Mooseeyes,

While no where near as artistic as your very nice picture, I had a play around with the water in your 'painted top' using Photoshop and came up with this first attempt at reflection in water.

Right now, I am looking for nice 'cloud/sky' formations to photograph to use as backgrounds.

I almost don't know where to begin. First of all Revelation 22:1 speaks of a flowing river, and it was my goal to show just that. You on the other hand, in a self-centered project of your own, have taken the motion and flow away and traded it for a still pond, likely full of bugs. . .using my image and art, without my permission. Shame on you.

Furthermore, what you did to my image was nothing short of a hack job. Your work at adding a so-called reflection is very poorly attempted.

We have rules here at UHH, and you have been a member long enough to know these rules. You do not edit another member's art/photography without express permission. Also, it is not permitted to hi-jack another member's thread, which you have also done here.

This is a Christian forum with stated rules and guidelines, and you sir are a cheap hack thief. After much thought, I determined that it would be very wrong of me not to address your actions. Might I suggest that you start your own topics in the future, using your own images, to play out your personal expressions, and please leave mine alone.

HI,

I may have been a member 'long enough' but not long enough to know how to find the 'Christian Forum', except by chance.

I have not read the rules of this 'Christian forum' as I have not found them to read. I had no idea that I was hi-jacking anything and I apologize for using your picture. I thought the concept of changing a road into a lake or a water surface was interesting, and as I mentioned, it was a first attempt - certainly not advanced enough to include bugs.

Rev 22:1 does read "a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal"

I also apologize for leaving one of my photographs in the forum. I had no idea that it was something 'private'. It is one of my 'images' ( that does have a bug) - but with respect to 'starting my own topic/forum - I have no idea of how. At my age I find the structure of UHH rather confusing. I thought that this was a Christian Forum not a colosseum of people attacking each other.

Radioman,

I am not going to engage you in your attempt to blow smoke up my a$$. You have been a member here for a year, and you want me and others to believe that you had no idea that you were not to modify the image of another without their expressed permission? This is a rule for all of UHH.

By you own words, you used Photoshop to do a hack job on my image. Photoshop is not a program that one has and uses that is as uninformed as you claim to be. Put simply, if you can use Photoshop, you can figure out how to post your own topic and/or find the rules which are listed as the first item in just about every forum.

You are exactly what I said, and your lame excuses now only make you look even worse. Your last sentence was very predictable. You cheat, you steal, you lie, and then you point your finger back at me for being un-christain for calling you on your actions. I didn't report your actions to the site admin.; however, be advised that I will now make the site admin. aware of your actions. Being christain does not mean I allow someone to walk all over me with their bad conduct and lies.

I am not going to take long to reply to this, just my comments on some of your statements.

"you want me and others to believe that you had no idea that you were not to modify the image of another without their expressed permission?"

I do not see anything about this in the rules: This is what I DO see:

- Do not post images owned/authored by others without their permission.

I did NOT post an image owned by others - I sent YOUR image back to YOU.

Making changes and sending back to the owner has been done many times by others. e.g. recovering images from very old photographs - I have done this, possibly twice.

Regarding making changes using Photoshop:

'sinatraman', the person looking after this "Christian Photography Group", had a photograph of a baptism, with an unwanted face by the side of the minister. I cleaned the head and background for him - and it was appreciated, not condemned along with a warning about breaking forum rules.

I did not claim to be uninformed about Photoshop. I have been using it since the 1970's. but initially NOT for photographs. I used the layers capability back then for printed circuit boards.

Regarding "posting my own topic". Until recently, I only looked at the 'latest digest' and posted comments etc. to some. The baptismal photo from Sinatraman was one of them. I am not particulally interested in posting any new topic.

I am 'uninformed' about all the various groups because I have been quite happy to stay with the variety of topics in the 'latest digest'. I am not lying -- you can easily check the record and confirm this for yourself.

The 'Christian Photography group' is the first one that I thought I would like to join, but it is clear that I am not welcome. Your statement "You cheat, you steal, you lie," makes this very clear. What did I cheat at? What did I steal? What lies did I tell??

re: "I didn't report your actions to the site admin.; however, be advised that I will now make the site admin. aware of your actions".

Please do - and at the same time perhaps you would request them to take me off the mailing list -- and also report it to sinatraman. This email from a 'Christian Photography Group' is the last straw.

p.s. I am not breaking this UHH rule:

"Threatening or hinting that you'll leave the forum unless I do something you want"

as I don't want you to do anything at all.
