There is not much to see beyond the buildings themselves, but ...
Taken with a Canon 50D. Thanks for looking, and C or C is welcome.

So much lumber in them, and they seem to be an area without trees. Maybe that why there are no trees there. Too many barns. :D

Wonderful photos there, condition of barns is remarkable .
Its a shame they can't talk and tell the stories of how they came to be , when they were built , something about the familes who used them , the things they have seen come and go.
I know where 2 old barns made of stone are in Oklahoma and next time I go to visit my sis plan on stopping to get a few good shots of them ( I hope at least )
Wish you had clicked the download feature so we could have a better look

It's difficult to pass up an old barn. Beautiful shots. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for looking and commenting, Jerry. The area where these barns stood was pretty flat. But I imagine there were quite a few more trees in the area way back when.

Thank you for your kind comment dooragdragon. I find it very hard to pass an old barn or farmhouse without taking a photo of it. I'm looking forward to your post of the two old stone barns when you photograph them.

Old barns are like covered bridges, can't resist a shot. I really like the composition of the first one - I like seeing the open field rather than trees. Am sure it has wonderful history. I think it
is postcard/note card and hanging worthy - it relaxes me. Thx for sharing :-) .

There's nothing quite like an old barn on the wide open parries. Thanks for posting!
