Outstanding speters ! This is what my thread topic is. How amazing is that.
Do you have a link so I can find one? Everyone so far says I cannot fit a Canon lens to a Nikon body.
Where did you find this adapter ?

If you want a sharp image, do you trust a cheap third-party chunk of glass to equal that of Canon or Nikon, just so you can use a hobbled lens on the Nikon? It is not going to focus to infinity without a corrective element. If it's macro you want, then it may actually be worth pursuing.
The best adapter for your Canon lens is a Canon body.

What adapter would I need to mount my Nikon mount Tamron 90mm 2.8 Macro on a friend's Canon 6D? Would it meter and autofocus?

It should meter manually, no autofocus.

That is exactly what I meant in a reply on July 15:

You're exactly right. I'll start buying nice Nikon products and the lenses should fit fine.
Especially like the Sigmas and Nikkors like I already have.

I love my Nikons and all I wanted to know was if there were comparable lenses available.
I've figured it out and I understand that keeping the Nikon and waiting to buy a better
zoom is my best choice.

Just looked up a few adapters. There is the one I mentioned made by Bower(#BOALN at B&H) at$38.40, then there is one from Vello - Nikon AF to Canon EOS(#VELACEFNAF) at 34.95 and also one from Novoflex, which costs substantially more (no surprise) (#NOLANCAF at B&H) for$269.99, they also make an Nikon G type to Canon EOS. Just thought I let you know.

The OP wants to put a Canon lens on a Nikon, not the other way round.
