There are a few models from Canon in the 70-300mm range. I took the plunge and moved to the L version recently by picking up a used copy from another UHH. Now that I want to sell the non L version, I thought to find examples of how well this lens has produced over the years. I usually bring out the 300mm only when I need the reach at a sporting event or maybe the zoo

Thanks SportsMom. I didn't remember using this lens as much as I found when investigating my older folders for examples...It was my first IS lens and most of these posted were hand held. Talk it up if you know someone in the market for this lens. :-)
I too have the non L version, I think the L version is a little more crisp in the focusing, however your images seem to disprove that assumption. Great set.
