Hi Guys! Yesterday between rain drops I discovered these hungry little ones. I was walking past the bird house and they must have thought it was Mom returning from grocery shopping, as they began to hallar. I felt bad that I didn't have a few worms for them, especially since they put on such a show for me!

Mom finally brought dinner

Thanks guys! I guess that is the baby daddy, not the mom, since the males are prettier. They're far from perfect, but I like them.

Excellent set!! With nature, and especially wildlife, it can be very difficult if not impossible to get "perfect" photos. Your set is a very good example of great captures of a wonderful time in the life of that 'family' !!

Thank you for the wonderful encouragement Wahawk. Considering I had to hold the camera up over my head and couldn't really see what I was shooting, I especially appreciate the kind words. (I think I may get better shots that way :) :))

I love them! #3 has to be the widest-open mouth from that sized critter EVER :) How lucky you have these to photography and enjoy watching grow up.

Holding it that way is why I like the SX50's LCD!!

Just keep at it!! I have shot some H.S. softball pics that way in order to shoot over the fence instead of 'through' it!!

Thanks, Linda. I guess it was the camera they thought was the food sorce :) We get bluebirds in that birdhouse every year but that's the best shots of babies I've been able to get.

Great shots! And some of the biggest mouths I've seen on anyone who isn't in politics.
