Took many but few came out; there was a lot of smoke and no wind and was very nervous 'cause this opportunity does not come around every day. Still I humbly summit myself to your expert scrutiny.

MK: Good shots, even considering the rain. We had no rain in Lebanon and I still got bad shots. Now who do I blame ???

Canon EOS 1000D, EF-s 18-55mm IS, focal length varied across the range depending on the composition desired. Bulb on some with a time between 6 and 8 seconds, those were the sharpest ones. The not so sharp ones were shot at 30 seconds exposure trying to capture bursts. F 11 as to compromise between enough depth of field while avoiding the issues of some small apertures. I believe the best results were obtained while using bulb and keeping the shutter open just long enough to capture three burst and not blow the highlights. I was really experimenting and was very nervous. Hope that helps...
