Rich,
Hi and thanks for visiting my site. Glad you liked it. Absolutely I want some feed back when I post future photos. That's why I'm here - to get feedback and continue to improve. I checked out your site as well. Really awesome stuff. Have any suggestions on shooting fireworks? I haven't had much luck with that since switching to digital.
Thanks,
Linda
First let me tell you when I shot those pics of fireworks, it was hit or miss, mostly miss. I hand held my camera on B setting so that i could keep the lens open as long as i kept the shutter button down. I was lucky. But now, the best way to photograph fireworks: A tripod is a must. A remote control extension cord also is a must. When you get set up, aim the camera where the fireworks will burst in the sky. as you see one being fired, release the shutter and keep it open as the burst goes off. It will take a little practice, but this is the best way to record fireworks and also to record lightening strikes. But when photographing lightening, be sure you are far enough away....if you know what i mean.....LOL. Good luck on the 4th.
