Hi Terje,
This is what I enjoy about the "hog". I have the same camera equipment as you have. The difference is, you definitely know what you are doing. Me on the other hand am in learning mode. I am relatively new to photography. So now I have a challenge. Try to do something similar. I seem to enjoy nature photography more than anything. Seeing your picture inspired me. So this weekend I will head toward the mountain looking for streams to photograph. This will be a first at this type of photography. With any luck at all I will come home with something worth keeping. Do you have any other tips that you would like to share before I attempt conquer the great Northwest.
Again, Great picture! PS...I can guarantee you it won't be a midnight.

Hi Plymouth34.
Glad my picture inspire you :) As far as tips goes here's what I do every time I take landscape/nature photograps: Tripod(a steady one), remote control release, mirror lockup, polarizer/ND filter.
ALWAYS look for different angles to shoot from. Up high/down low. This will make your picture that more interesting.
